Stretchhhhhhhh!!!
So anyone who knows me knows I'm a fan of simple setups. Let me show you an idea that gives the illusion of skin stretch.
Below i have a face cut to only the mouth to show you the idea.
Its a simple four direction system comprised of a smile, frown, wide and narrow.

So one simple trick you can do to easily set this up is using the animation graph to make you curves go to infinity. If you are using set driven keys you easily do this by selecting the animation curve, going to graph editor curves/
on the left side of the graph are your pre-infinity and on the right post-infinity I set the ends and select linear. as shown below.

You can now move it around, providing you take time to make beautiful blendshape targets. Animator will never know ;) again if you need a breakdown, hit me up. Jason
