Issue
If you have ever rigged a quadruped you may have ran into this issue.
That is when the hind legs or any legs on a equine anatomy makes sitting positions in animation a nightmare.
Solution
One solution is to counter this behaviour by adding a distance node that is constrained to the foot control and hip control. You can then use any type of condition or utility node in this case in using a remapValue node to rotate the buffer group of the hock control.
And there you have it you're animators sanity is saved for another day.
